Vascular ultrasound is a highly accurate and reliable noninvasive test performed by highly trained ultrasonographer used to evaluate blood vessels throughout the body. Arteries and veins can be evaluated for disease and blood flow such as plaque build-up, blood clots, aneurysms and vessel narrowing.
